Create Beautiful DesignsDear Isabelle and Alyse,
Thank you so much for writing to Santa. My name is Candy Cane and I am one of Santa’s elves. He said to tell you both that he enjoyed your letter. Getting letters always makes him feel extra jolly. He’s very happy that you enjoyed the teddy bear and toys he gave you last year, Isabella. Santa is a very busy man this time of year. He has lots of jobs to complete: Checking his list--twice might I add, making sure all the toys are made perfectly, preparing his sleigh for take off, and making sure the reindeer are healthy and strong. Us elves are rather busy as well, but we love to take time to respond to the letters children send to Santa. Here in the workshop, the elves work as hard as we can to build the best toys for the nice kids. There are a bunch of us so it’s easy to make all the toys by hand. We work year round to make sure you kids have the best Christmas possible. Before writing this letter, Santa showed me his list and where your names are. I’m proud to say that you are both on the Nice list. However, there is still time for that to change, so you have to be on your best behavior. Alyse, Santa is very proud of you for working hard to improve your grade. As well as the magnificent job you are doing studying your words for Word Study. Be sure to keep it up. He also thought your Zombie Doctor costume was really cool this Halloween. Isabelle, thank you for letting Santa know where the cookies and carrots will be. He’s made a note of it and will be sure to grab them. The reindeer will love the carrots--they get hungry after all that flying--and Santa always loves cookies. Mrs. Claus and Santa say they love you too. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to both of you. Your friend, Candy Cane |
