Three weeks into sophomore year and it's already obvious how many things are different. For one, I actually knew where I was going on the first day of school. I knew what questions to ask if I got lost and who to ask. So far it seems like there is less stress this year. Maybe it's just because I'm not pilled with honors classes, or maybe it's because I now know what to expect from certain teachers and how to really manage my time. Not to mention that I have a lot of classes with my friends. Being a sophomore is a whole lot better than being a freshman.
Although, it is rather strange no longer seeing my brother and all of his friends in the hallways since they all graduated back in June. I feel like I know less people now then I did last year. That may be the same for any of the sophomores or it may just be a downside of growing up with an older sibling and all of their friends.
I have a good feeling about this year. I'm excited for what is to come next.
